THE COMPANY Established in 1957 as Engineering & Metal Industries Ltd, a change of name to Rida National Plastics Ltd in 1968 coincided with the installation of our first PVC Floor Tile Plant, making us West Africa's first PVC Floor Tile manufacturer. The company is ran by a board of Directors and staff of over 350 personnel. MISSION STATEMENT In as much as we are leading plastics manufacturer in West Africa, our vision is to be seen as a good corporate citizen, contributing to the upkeep of its environment in support of the United Nations, European Union and Federal Government via the Environmental Protection Agency Clarion call for a global clean society. This is why we invest in specialized equipment & machinery to process degenerated waste plastic materials which would otherwise have littered the environment and produce fine resilient post consumer plastic products that have become household names all over the country and beyond. We have utilized more than 35,000 tons of degenerated waste plastic materials over the years. Our production process of regenerating waste plastic materials into post consumer plastics products has become a continuum.
RIDA BRAND The RIDA BRAND is well known throughout Nigeria since the 1960's and is synonymous with quality, integrity and strength. As a household name, three entire generations are familiar with our "made in Nigeria" products. Over 15 million of our chairs have been sold all over Nigeria and West Africa. The goodwill associated with the RIDA brand is a solid foundation for the successful entry of our future products. LOCATION Situated on the State Highway at Ilupeju with easy access to sea and airports as well as the Oshodi transport hub, we are ideally located for distribution to all parts of Lagos; Nationwide and West Africa. Our premises are self owned and situated on 5 hectares of prime property in Ilupeju Industrial Estate - Lagos, with over 240,000 ft sq factory and warehousing built up area.
EXPANSION PROGRAM Rida National Plastics has put in place a systematic expansion program designed to cater for the local construction industry, while using locally sourced raw materials, with a recycled material content. Such lines include; PVC extruded roof gutters & ceiling profiles, PVC window and roofing profiles, Wood/Plastic Panels & Doors, Extruded High Pressure PP Water Pipes & HDPE Telecommunication Pipes. CUSTOMER BASE We have over the last 50 years built up a nationwide distributor's network covering all the geographic and geopolitical zones in Nigeria. We have also built up a continuous working relationship with many government ministries, universities, churches and corporate institutions. Equally we have distributers in the West African bordering countries and some as far as Senegal and Gabon.
RECYCLING Rida National Plastics is a pioneer in the plastic recycling field since 1996. We recycle 350 tons of waste plastic material per month to produce quality post consumer goods. In this plastic production, we reprocess degenerated waste plastic materials, sourced from all over the country which we blend with Virgin content raw materials and produce excellent finished, thereby becoming a 'veritable agent' helping in the clean environment campaign. We are among the most environmental minded manufacturing organisations in Africa with possibly the cleanest carbon footprint.

PVC FLOORING LINE Our PVC Flooring section has been recently refurbished in accordance with today's changing market. We now have the flexibility to produce a wider range of PVC flooring products to meet a vast assortment of applications in sizes up to 4m x 1.25m and thicknesses up to 6mm. The range of machinery in use are: Toyo Kenki Seizo mill and calendar line Carter UK intensive mixer Robinson Roller Mill
FLOORING PRODUCTS SUPERFLEX Flooring Range - Flooring the nation since 1968 is a recognised and time-tested brand of PVC Floor Tiles offering an affordable, convenient solution to flooring needs. Various colours, styles and finishes make this range the ideal choice for a whole host of applications. CONTINUOUS FLOORING - Rida Superflex is also available in roll form, in widths of up to one metre and lengths up to 4 metres in all colours and thicknesses up to 4mm. RIDA ANTI SLIP - Embossed flooring is available in several patterns including; Coin, Chequered Plate and Corrugated, for applications where extra grip and anti slip element flooring is required.

RIDA SHELL - The STANDARD and STAR varieties of the RIDA SHELL seating range were introduced in 1978. Since then, more than 8 million of our seat shells have been sold throughout West Africa for use in various arenas including; schools, universities, public municipalities, and stadiums. RIDA ELITE is the nation's preferred commercial plastic chair. Its strength is unrivalled by any other plastic chair. RIDA JET is considered the most elegant commercial chair in the Nigerian Market. RIDA STORAGE BOXES are nestable, stackable, tough, durable and strong. Their ability to support more than 60kg makes them perfect for extreme applications such as archiving and storage of heavy goods. We also have an extensive range of household products including; bowls, basins, baskets, bins, stools and tables. Contract Injection Moulding We carry out speciality contract mouldings for corporate clients, such as brewery crate mouldings, pallet mouldings and other speciality mouldings which require our 25 Year injection moulding and intellectual expertise. ROTO MOULDING Our Roto Moulding dept is equipped with state of the art machinery and bespoke moulds designed and produced exclusively for Rida National Plastics by Fixopan:
ROTO Products: WATER STORGE TANKS - Reno and Classic tank ranges, available in 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 7500, & 10,000 litre capacities. WHEELIE BINS - Rida refuse collection wheeled bins are available in 120, 220, and 360 litre capacities, all are reinforced for automated tipping. TRAFFIC CONES - Our traffic cones are expertly crafted using the highest quality materials. Available in 16, 28, and 36 inch heights in fluorescent orange with 'high visibility' reflective collars. TRAFFIC BARRIERS - Rida traffic barrier is a traffic control device sold at wholesale prices that can be used like a solid Jersey barrier system. Our water filled barriers can be used for road closures, security, work zones and many other applications.
EXTRUSION Our PVC Extrusion section affords us the capacity to produce 600 tons Rigid UPVC pipes per month for electrical conduits, services conduits, water supply, waste, drainage, irrigation and sewage pipes in various sizes and pressure ratings under Schedules 40, 80, and 120 of the North American Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) standards and pressure ratings as per DIN 8061 International standards.
